Eagles Fall Short to Crossroads

This past weekend, the Emmaus Eagles played 2 games: First, against Crossroads College and the second being a conference game against Ozark Christian.

In the game against Crossroads, Emmaus found themselves down early due to the strong shooting of the opposing team. It seemed like every outside shot they took went in. Additionally, the Eagles had 9 turnovers in the first half. However, Emmaus was able to stay in the game due to a stellar performance from freshman Caleb Postma, who went 6 for 7 from the 3 point line in the first half. The Eagles would trail by 9 going into the locker room.

The second half saw more of the same, as Crossroads would continue to shoot lights out from outside. This half was different, though, as Emmaus would only turn the ball over 3 times. It was a different freshman who provided a spark for the Eagles this half as Nathaniel Glidewell went 6 for 6 from the field while also going 6 for 7 from the free throw line. Ultimately, tired legs would not allow Emmaus to get over the first half deficit and they would fall 80-70 to Crossroads.
