Eagles Defeat Kansas Christian

Emmaus took on Kansas Christian for the third time in the National Tournament and defeated them 74-54.  The Eagles overcame a poor shooting first half with 58.6% shooting in the second half to bring down Kansas.

The first half saw Kansas take an 8 point lead into the half as the Emmaus shot 10 less shots and made fewer baskets than Kansas did.  Steven Horan led the Eagles with 9 points and Elijah Reeves added 8 with Cody Cunard putting in 7 points.

The second half belonged to Emmaus however as the ball began ripping through the net at a faster clip.  Five Eagles scored in double figures and Reeves had a double/double.  Matthew Tomlinson had 5 three pointers all in the final 4 minutes and finished with 17 points.  Caleb Postma added 13 points while Reeves had 12 rebounds to match his 12 points.  Both Horan and Cody Cunard scored 11 each.
