Parra Signs With The Eagles

The Eagles have officially signed Armando Parra out of Cy Woods High School in Cypress, Texas.

This season, Armando helped seal a playoff spot for his team with a 21-13 record overall (12-4 in District standings) and a 2nd place District finish. Parra averaged 10 Points, 6 Assists, 5 Rebounds and 2 Steals per game while earning Defensive Player of the Year and All-District Honorable Mention awards.

Coach Graw said of Parra's game: "Armando gives us another high talent versatile student athlete on the roster. He has the ability to score like a D'Angelo Russell and shoot from the outside like a Michael Redd. He brings us athleticism and speed with the potential to be a premier lockdown defender who can also handle the ball and find the open man." He added, "What I love most about Armando is that he wants to be in a program that is centered on Christ. He is the mission fit student athlete that we want here at Emmaus Bible College"

Armando is excited for the opportunity to play at Emmaus and said "I'll be able to play the game that I love while also being centered in Christ"

Armando plans to study Business Administration at Emmaus.
