MCCC ANNOUNCES INTENTIONS TO CONDUCT ATHLETICS PROGRAMS FOR 2020-21

 

ANKENY, Iowa — Following their spring meeting, the Midwest Christian College Conference announced its intention to conduct intercollegiate athletics programs this fall and for the entirety of the 2020-21 academic year. The announcement coincided with the conference's spring meeting, which took place May 11 through virtual meetings of the conference's athletics administrators and faculty athletics representatives.

 

State and local guidelines will be primary considerations for the conference's seven institutions as the summer leads into preseason practice and then into competition. Individual member institutions are conducting their own assessments and preparations specific to best practices for their locations. The individual members will continue to do so throughout the summer and into the academic year.
