Bankhead Signs with Emmaus

Cecaria Bankhead has signed a letter of intent to continue her basketball career under Coach Graw and the Lady Eagles of Emmaus. Cece finished her high school career as a lady shark at Atlantic High School in Port Orange, Florida. As a captain in her senior year, Bankhead averaged 10 points, 12 rebounds, 4 steals, and 4 assists per game. With excitement, Coach Graw had this to say, "Cece does the things no one else wants to do. She is a primary defender and premier rebounder who gives us much needed strength and power. She can guard a guard as well as a post, and when guarding a pick n' roll, that is huge. It gives us a lot of versatility on the defensive end. Cece makes us a much better defensive team and a much better rebounding team. It will be fun to see her develop over the course of her career in our program."

Bankhead's awards include Defensive Player of the Year, Coaches Award, and Iron Woman Award. She will be pursuing a degree in Bible/Theology and Counseling Psychology while attending Emmaus.
