DUBUQUE, IA – The Lady Eagles added another conference win as they swept the visiting Lady Soldiers of St. Louis Christian 3-0.  The win improves the team's record to 6-5 (2-2 MCCC).

Emmaus was eager to regain some tempo after Tuesday's loss, and purposed to stay in system and reduce errors against the young St. Louis team.  The Lady Eagles had contributions from the entire squad as they progressively improved their attack percentage in each set, to end with a match total of .247.

Elizabeth Brame led the attack with 8 kills. Savannah Petersen followed closely behind with 7.

"St. Louis worked hard and gave a good effort.  I was very pleased with the way we performed on our side of the net," commented Coach Pitman.  "Hopefully we can continue this momentum into Saturday's games."

Emmaus hosts a triangular this weekend, and will play two important matches.  The Lady Eagles defeated their first opponent Dayspring Bible College (Mundelein, IL) by a slim 3-2 margin in August.  The second match of the day will be a conference game against Calvary Bible College (Belton, MO).  Match times are 11:00 am and 3:00 pm in the Pollard Fieldhouse.
