Clarke defeats Emmaus before Christmas Break

The Emmaus men traveled across town to Clarke University on a cold December evening and suffered a 94-60 loss to the hands of the Crusaders.

The Crusaders came out shooting lights out and hardly let up.  Clarke shot 63% in the first half, including 64% from three point range (9-14).  For the game, Clarke shot 57.6% and the Eagles struggled to keep up.  The taller Crusaders won the scoring in the paint as well, 38-18.

Three players scored in double figures for the Eagles, led by guard Steven Horan.  Horan hit three treys and scored 21 points.  Caleb Postma and Cody Cunard added 10 points each in the scoring column.  Elijah Reeves had 6 offensive rebounds showing his continued work on the backboards and Angelo Lott also showed determination down low with his 4 offensive rebounds.

Next up for the Eagles are two games down in Kansas during the first weekend of the new year.  Soon after comes the rest of the conference games so please come out and cheer on the team.
