Eagles fall to Faith

Eagles fall to Faith

For the third time this season, the Emmaus Men took on the Faith Eagles and this time in the consolation game of the MCCC Tournament in Ankeny, IA, the home of Faith.  Everyone knew the "Eagles" would win but which school?

Emmaus couldn't keep up with Faith in the first half as Faith jumped out to a 15 point lead at the 4:47 mark and they would hold that lead going into the half.  Steven Horan totaled 12 points and 5 rebounds in the first half to lead Emmaus.

The second half saw the Eagles make a charge late in the game to cut the Faith lead to six points after hitting some three point shots.  Unfortunately, Emmaus couldn't quite finish the comeback and Faith would hold onto the lead and win by a score of 72-58.

Horan finished the game with 17 points and 10 rebounds while Nathaniel Glidewell also finished in double figures with 11 points.

Next up for the Eagles will be Illinois Tech.
