Redding Named NCCAA Student-Athlete of The Week

Redding Named NCCAA Student-Athlete of The Week
Brandon Redding has been named the NCCAA DII Men's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for his performances against Maranatha Baptist University on Jan. 28, and versus Moody Bible Institute in an Emmaus home win on Feb. 1.

Redding filled up the stat sheet with 42 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 assists against the Moody Archers this past Saturday.  Redding scored with outstanding efficiency, shooting 66.7% from the floor (18-of-27), and came within 1 point of his school-record, 43 points, which he set in another contest versus Moody earlier this year.  Redding leads all of NCCAA DII in scoring average, and Saturday's 42-point performance was his 8th game of 30+ points this season.

Earlier in the week, Redding tallied 19 points and 8 rebounds in the contest versus Maranatha Baptist University, eclipsing the 1,000 point threshold for his Emmaus Eagles career.

Redding, from West Palm Beach, FL, is a third-year member of the men's basketball program and a Business-Finance major at Emmaus Bible College.

Congratulations Brandon!

Stats on the week: 30.5 PPG, 6.5 RPG, 2.5 SPG, 2.0 APG, 51.1% (FG), 76.9% (FT), 60.0% (3PT)
