Kornstad Chooses Emmaus

Avery Kornstad has signed a letter of intent to further her career as a Lady Eagle of Emmaus Bible College. Kornstad of Kenai, Alaska plays both the point guard and shooting guard positions and was a starter for the Nikiski High School Lady Bulldogs while averaging 5.1 P/G, 2.2 Reb/G, 1.4 Ast/G, and 1.1 Stl/G. Kornstad and the Lady Bulldogs advanced to the 2017 Alaska High School State Tournament. Coach Graw had this to say, "Avery gives us another solid guard who can play both the point guard and shooting guard position. I really believe that Avery has hardly scratched the surface in regards to her talent and potential. I believe she has the ability to be a very solid outside shooter in our league, and her talent has an extremely high ceiling that she will tap into during her time in our program. She's bought in to our vision and I am looking forward to coaching her these next 4 years."
