Cedar Valley Christian's Hembera Signs with Emmaus

Molly Hembera of Cedar Rapids, Iowa has signed a letter of intent to continue her basketball career as an Emmaus Lady Eagle. Hembera is known as an all around player averaging 13.9 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 4 assists per game while standing 5'8" at the guard position. Her defensive intensity and competitive nature make her a fierce defender along with her God given athleticism. Coach Graw commented, "Molly has only scratched the surface in regards to her potential. She has an extreme amount of untapped talent that we as a program are extremely excited to develop. What makes me the most excited is her coachable nature. Molly wants to be coached and desires to maximize her God given talent for the glory of Christ."

 

Hembera will graduate high school with a 4.0 overall GPA. She is a student leader in Fellowship of Christian Athletes and is actively involved in her local church and youth group. While attending Emmaus, Molly will pursue a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies and Computer Information Systems.
