Tyrus Buckner, Men's Basketball
Tyrus Buckner, a first-year forward on the Emmaus Eagles Men’s Basketball team, capped of his first season with stellar performances throughout conference play and into the post-season.
Buckner finished his freshmen campaign with 574 total points, while averaging 23.9 points per game, combined with 12.3 rebounds per game, in 34.6 minutes played per game.
Buckner led the Eagles to 3 big wins in February, and propelled his team to within 1 point of reaching the NCCAA North Regional Championship game.
For his efforts and performances in 2020-21, Bucker was honored with selection to the Midwest Christian College Conference 2nd Team, as well as earning All-NCCAA North Region 1st Team honors.
