Kate Janzen, Cross Country

Kate Janzen has been named NCCAA Student-Athlete of the Week for the first time this season, second in her career.

Janzen, a Sophomore at Emmaus set a PR with a 5k time of 21:43 at the St. Ambrose Fighting Bee Invite. Kate placed 13th out of 39 runners, competing against all NAIA schools.

Janzen qualified for the NCCAA National Championship last weekend at the Corridor XC Clash, and will look to use the rest of the year to prepare for the National meet.

The NCCAA National Championship will take place November 10, 2023 in Warsaw, IN.
