Cucchiari Commits to Emmaus

We are excited to announce the signing of Josh Cucchiari for the upcoming season!

Cucchiari played basketball at Cole Valley Christian School in Meridian, ID where he averaged 8 Points, 6 Assists, 3 Rebounds and 2 Steals per game for the Chargers. Josh was instrumental in his team's success which included 3 state tournament appearances, 2 semifinal appearances, and 3-time district Champions. Josh was named Team Captain for two years, as well as earning 2x All-Conference and 1x All-State honors.

Coach Graw shared: "Josh brings us another ball handler at the point guard position but also shoots the ball well enough to play the 2-guard position. He is a scrappy defender and loves to attack in transition." He added, "What I love most about Josh is his attitude. He is thankful for this opportunity to be a part of what we are building, and I have no shadow of a doubt that his work ethic and grind mentality were produced from this type of growth mindset. He will do great things as an Eagle!"

"I picked Emmaus because it seems like a place I can grow in my faith, as well as providing a great environment and full of great people." Josh commented. "What excites me about the basketball program is Coach Graw and the players coming in to build something great."

Josh plans to study Business Administration at Emmaus.
