Eagles Basketball Signs Steel

Eagles Basketball Signs Steel

Lincoln Steel of Dubuque, Iowa has signed a letter of intent to continue his basketball career with the Emmaus Men's Basketball program under head coach Philip Parker. Steel is no stranger to Emmaus as two of his brothers (Cody, Reilly) have previously attended and proudly rep the Blue and Gold. Lincoln also joins several of his Tri-State classmates as they suit up for the Eagles this season.

"I chose Emmaus because I felt that was God's plan for me, also because I had connections with many people already attending Emmaus" Lincoln shared. "I'm looking forward most to the lifelong friendships to be made and the amazing memories that come along with that. I also look forward to the sports aspect! I can't wait to play in front of a home crowd! no matter the sport I play I look forward to every aspect of it!"

Assistant Coach Matthew Tomlinson spoke on adding Steel to the team: "We are excited to have Lincoln with us! He's only been playing basketball for the last few years but has a lot of raw talent. Coming in at 6'7 we are excited to have him learn from Tyrus and developing. Keep an eye out for Lincoln on the dunk counter this year!"

Please join us as we welcome Lincoln to the Emmaus Athletics family!
