Stewart Joins the Eagles

Joshua Stewart of Concord, North Carolina has signed a letter of intent to continue his basketball career with the Emmaus Eagles Basketball program. Stewart, a 1,000 point scorer in his high school career, brings extra depth and experience to the program as a transfer from University of Mount Olive (Mount Olive, NC).

"I chose Emmaus because of basketball, the academics, and how small the community is." Josh Shared, "I feel like I thrive in small communities where I can get to know people quickly like a family. I'm looking forward to playing and meeting the team."

Coach Parker spoke on Stewart: "Josh is going to be a great addition to Emmaus Basketball. He's a talented player who brings great experience, but more importantly he fits our mission of using basketball to illustrate the Christian life. We got better today!"
