Bio

Major
I am majoring in Counseling Psychology.

When did you start playing soccer?
I have been playing organized soccer since I was around 5 years old.

What is your favorite sports team and/or player?
I do not really keep up with professional soccer, but I've always enjoyed good old Ronaldinho.

Highlight of your sports career?
I have many highlights of my soccer career, but only three stand out. 1. My junior year when I knuckle balled a goal from a corner kick 2. Being one of the few players all season to score a goal against Barclay last year  3. Learning how to be a better team player during my freshmen year and applying it in my Sophomore year.

What type of growth have you seen in yourself through your years of playing?
The Lord has definitely used soccer to teach me many lessons.  Most notably, humility.  Despite my talents and abilities, the Lord has brought me to more lows than highs in my career that have, in turn, brought me to a better understanding of myself and the Love of God.

Name the individual who has impacted you the most in your playing career, and how they have influenced you.
I would say that the most influential person in my playing career would be my Junior High coach, Mr. Fogle.  He was only my coach for a short time, but he both exemplified a star athlete (overall beast) and Christ in the way he played, coached, and even in his private life.  His example impacted me to be the best player I can be, but also to strive to glorify the Lord through my playing.

Favorite passage of scripture and why?
Going along with my journey to humility my favorite scripture is John 3:30,  "He must increase, but I must decrease."

Through our play and conduct, may we bring more attention to the Lord than ourselves this season.
