In a commanding display of skill and strategic gameplay, Emmaus Bible College triumphed over the Ozark Christian College Ambassadors in a resounding 2-0 victory. The match, held in Joplin, Missouri, showcased the Eagles' offensive prowess and defensive solidity, earning them their second win of the season and their first shutout of the year.

The statistical dominance of 29 shots for Emmaus compared to Ozark's 11 highlighted the Eagles' attacking intent. Tucker Kapas, the reliable guardian of Emmaus' goal, made four crucial saves, benefitting from a stellar defensive performance that kept the Ambassadors at bay.

The breakthrough for Emmaus came in the 39th minute when Bennett Kreiner opened his goal-scoring account for the season. Kreiner unleashed a shot from distance off an assist from Josh Matte, giving the Eagles a 1-0 lead heading into halftime.

Midway through the second half, Kaleb Pogany added to the tally, finishing off his second goal of the season by connecting with a cross from Bennett Kreiner. The Eagles' solid backline and defensive efforts contributed to a quieter day for Kapas, securing the team's first shutout of the season.

Emmaus head coach Chris McHugh expressed satisfaction with the team's progress, stating, "Our team is improving, and we wanted to see if we could possess better today and dictate the game with the ball. The guys did that well, and now we'll continue to work on our finishing and movements in the final third of the field."
