Miller Commits to Eagles Soccer

John David Miller of Chariton, IA has signed a letter of intent to continue his soccer career at Emmaus Bible College. With this commitment, Miller becomes the third member of the men's soccer signing class for 2024.

John David is currently in the midst of his senior season playing for Chariton High School. An outside back and defender throughout his career, he features at right fullback for Chariton HS. With this signing, the Eagles add a quick, physical player capable of playing in both the midfield or defense.

"We are thrilled that JD has chosen Emmaus for his education and to continue his soccer career!" expressed head coach Chris McHugh. "John David had a great visit with us this past Fall, and we enjoyed seeing him connect well with our guys throughout the day and out on the field. 

I know that he is motivated and has high hopes for his senior season with Chariton, and so we're excited to see him carry that momentum right into preseason with us next Fall!" 

On selecting Emmaus Bible College, Miller shared, "I am very excited to join the Emmaus Eagles this fall and have the opportunity to play alongside like-minded brothers. I love this program and am thrilled to continue my soccer career for God's glory."

"We are returning a solid group of players, and so we're excited to add JD into that mix, and see what God will do in and through our team next year," shared Coach McHugh.
