October 11-12, 2024 – Emmaus faced a tough challenge in their doubleheader, falling 2-0 to Great Lakes Christian, and 3-1 to Grace Christian.
In the First game, Great Lakes took an early lead in the 15th minute and scored again in the 48th minute. Emmaus continued to fight back, with several opportunities and solid defense, but they finished the match with nine total shots and just three on target. Goalkeeper Tucker Kapas had a standout performance, making nine saves to keep Emmaus in contention, and Emmaus had 4 Corner kicks, compared to Great Lakes' 3. Louis Matte was the offensive standout of the game for the Eagles with 3 Shots, 1 being on goal, but it wasn't quite enough in Game 1.
In the Second game, Emmaus faced off against Grace in a tough matchup, ultimately falling 3-1. Grace struck early, first scoring just 6 minutes into the game, then in the 37th minute, and the 79th minute. Emmaus did get a goal when Josh Matte managed to put Emmaus on the board in the 55th minute, giving the team a boost of energy. Emmaus recorded a total of eight shots, with four on target, and Tucker Kapas delivered a strong performance again with 12 saves.
