LaBerge Signs with Emmaus Soccer

Lincoln LaBerge, a standout goalkeeper from Quad Cities Christian School, has officially signed his letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic career at Emmaus University in Dubuque, Iowa.

"We're excited to add Lincoln to our 2025 roster!" shared head coach Chris McHugh.  "Lincoln is going to be a great fit at Emmaus and on our team.  As a goalkeeper, he's a welcome and needed addition to our roster, and more importantly he's got a strong relationship with our defender Seth Karl, so he's already familiar with Emmaus."

Standing at 6'5", LaBerge brings an imposing presence in the net and a proven track record of success. Over his high school , he recorded 101 saves across 21 games with a career goals-against average of just 1.77. In his senior season alone, he posted an impressive 0.976 GAA in 12 appearances. His performance earned him numerous accolades, including 2nd Team All-Conference and the Golden Glove award during the 2022–23 season.

"Emmaus University provides me an opportunity to have a spiritual education at an affordable price," said LaBerge. "I understand that the fellowship and community at Emmaus promotes a biblical-based growth. Beyond that, having the opportunity to play a sport while in college is rare—especially in an atmosphere that glorifies Christ."

LaBerge plans to major in Communication with a possible minor in History. In addition to his athletic achievements, he was active in student government, the National Honor Society, and his local church, volunteering in both the café and children's ministry.

"I look forward to growing in my faith while also gaining new friends," he said. "I hope that I'm given opportunities that challenge my faith so that I can grow stronger. Overall, I'm looking forward to growing physically, mentally, and spiritually."
