Lady Eagles Overcome Against Crossroads

Rochester, MN - It was a great day to be a Lady Eagle on Tuesday. A 75-21 win against Crossroads College marks the first win in two years. However, it didn't start out great, even with the Eagles' 18-0 lead within the first 10 minutes of the game. With unforced turnovers and stagnate ball movement, it was as if they were afraid to win.  The Lady Eagles were only up 24-9 at the half against a very inexperienced Crossroads team. All of a sudden the flood gates opened and our Lady Eagles came out in the second half with determination, along with unbelievable outside shooting from Rachel West and Madison Laib.

The stat sheet was filled with outstanding numbers led by Madison Laib with 25 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 assists. Annie Schaeckenbach added 12 points and 11 rebounds. Rachel West laid 14 points and 5 rebounds down. Grace Welch brought 9 points and 9 rebounds.  Finally, Sharon Tomlinson made 10 rebounds and 8 assists.

It was a great team win for our Lady Eagles and we are excited to see more!
