Joplin, MO - With a David vs Goliath match up, the Lady Eagles took on a tough task in playing Hillsdale (23-3). It started off back and forth. The Emmaus Ladies knocked down shots early, but then came the full court press from Hillsdale and things started to fall apart. Emmaus tried to fight through adversity, but the opposition was too great and on a different level of playing field. "We're young, inexperienced, and need to learn how to fight efficiently. This game was a huge learning experience for us and we will grow from it and get better" said Coach Graw. With the roster being primarily young freshman, the Lady Eagles showed much promise and at times played very well against much stronger and more experienced basketball programs.
