Williams Caps Career With NCCAA 1ST Team All-American Selection

Emmaus Bible College senior, Tiffany Williams, soared to an NCCAA 1^st Team All-American selection for the first time in her career, capping an award-filled 4-year campaign on the hardwood for the Lady Eagles!

Williams started all 28 games for the Lady Eagles in 2019-20, and started 110 of the 111 games she played at Emmaus. Williams' appointment to the 2020 NCCAA All-American 1^ST team, follows back-to-back awards as 2^nd Team All-American in 2018 and 2019.

Williams led the Lady Eagles on both ends of the court, from the perimeter and the post, as the Lady Eagles earned MCCC Regular Season and Tournament Championships, with Williams garnering Conference MVP for the 2^nd year in a row.

"Tiffany is a great basketball player and leader both on and off the court and well-deserving of this award. Her consistency in putting forth 100% effort, every moment of every game and practice is almost unheard of…and when combined with her incredible athletic speed & jumping ability, she is flat out hard to catch," exclaimed head coach Heather Cunard.

The Atlantic, Iowa native was also a 2x-NCCAA Scholar-Athlete and 2x-NCCAA North Region MVP. This season, Williams helped the Lady Eagles to the NCCAA National Tournament for the second time in her 4-year career.

"Tiffany has been an all-around player, a consistent leader in every category, including defense - with deflections, steals, and blocks," added Coach Cunard.

"Even more importantly though, her positive attitude, sportsmanship, and Christ-like perspective have led the team on and off the court, and had a great impact on our success. I am so grateful to have had 'the energizer bunny' - Tiffany - on our team this year. She is well-deserving of this award!"

Williams logged career highs and ranked in the NCCAA Top 10 in the following categories during 2019-20:

5^th - 18.5 pts/g

3^rd - 13.0 reb/g

9^th - 4.5 a/g

2^nd - 4.5 st/g

4^th - 36.5 min/g

4^th - .527 FG%
