Lostutter Inks With the Eagles

Lostutter Inks With the Eagles

Jenna Lostutter of Saint Jacob, Illinois has signed her letter of intent to continue her basketball career at Emmaus Bible College. While we at Emmaus are ecstatic that Jenna will be transferring in next season from Lincoln Christian University, we are deeply saddened by the changes that led her here, which include the discontinuing of their athletics programs. Our prayers go out to the students, faculty/staff, and alumni as they continue to process the changes.

When asked about her decision to choose Emmaus, Jenna shared: "Despite the heartache with LCU, I wanted to further deepen my relationship with the Lord and Emmaus offered that and more. The Elementary Education program blew me away with all of the amazing opportunities it offered me as a student. Coach Sharon and the girls on the team made me feel like we were a family." She added, "I am most looking forward to meeting more Emmaus students and the professors here as well, not to mention drawing closer to the Lord through chapel and sermons. I am also excited to practice and play with my teammates for the season."

When asked about Lostutter, Coach Sharon Tomlinson shared "While I wish the circumstances that brought Jenna to us were different, I'm so happy to add her to the team! She brings a high level of energy to our group and will add some much needed depth as we continue to build our program. Jenna has spent the past year developing her game under the guidance of Coach Christian Lowry over at LCU, and I'm excited to continue helping her grow in the coming years!"

Please join us as we welcome Jenna to the Emmaus Athletics family!
