Women's basketball named NCCAA Scholar Team
DUBUQUE, Ia -- Emmaus women's basketball has been named a Scholar Team for the 2022-23 academic year, as announced by the NCCAA. This marks the second straight year the Lady Eagles have earned this honor.
To be eligible for this honor, teams need to maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.40 on a 4.00 scale for all combined student-athletes on the team throughout both semesters of participation.
The Lady Eagles averaged a 3.75 GPA for the 2022-23 academic year and are one of 42 winter and spring season teams between Division 1 and Division 2 who were recognized on the list. The full listing can be found at thenccaa.org
Emmaus is a fully-accredited four-year college offering more than 30 professional and ministry-related academic programs. Emmaus athletic teams compete in the NCCAA Division II and the Midwest Christian College Conference.
