Hutchinson Inks First in Historical Signing

Hutchinson Inks First in Historical Signing

Lila Hutchinson of Buffalo, Minnesota has signed a letter of intent to continue her cross-country career under coach Jeremiah Gerardy and the Emmaus Bible College Eagles. This will be the inaugural season for cross-country at Emmaus and Hutchinson makes history by being the very first cross-country runner to sign a letter of intent.

On why she chose Emmaus, Lila stated this; "I chose Emmaus Bible College because it is a small school that is devoted to learning from a Christian perspective and putting God as the final authority. I am looking forward to being able to meet people in a smaller and even tighter kinit group, who enjoy running and working hard together."

Lila stands 5'3" and ran with Northwest Nighthawks Cross Country and Track & Field during high school.  She is a volunteer counselor at Living Word Bible Camp and enjoys photography in her down time. Lila intends on studying Elementary Education.
