Lady Eagles Prepared for Post Season

Lady Eagles Prepared for Post Season

DUBUQUE, IA - It's been a long road for Emmaus this fall, as the team has focused on daily improvements, but have not seen the scoreboard successes they are hoping for. The Lady Eagles had a hard final week, falling to Ellsworth, Manhattan, Barclay, and Trinity as they closed out regular season play.

"It's been a tough run for sure," commented Coach Pitman. "We keep making small gains and I have appreciated how this group has remained resilient and had overall positive attitudes. It can be discouraging to lose, and we have made it tough on our players by throwing lots of changes their way as we keep striving to find our best rotations. As we look to the post-season, our prayer is that we would continue to honor God no matter what the scoreboard says, and that we would end with our very best efforts on the court!"

The Lady Eagles first opportunity will come this Friday in the first round of the MCCC tournament. Emmaus faces off against Barclay College at 3:00 pm in Joplin, MO.
