Lady Eagles Volleyball Signs Hawley

Sabrina Hawley of DeSoto, Texas has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career with the Emmaus Lady Eagles Volleyball program under head coach Hannah Richter. In high school, Hawley attended Life Oak Cliff HS where she competed on the school's volleyball and softball teams.

When asked about her decision to choose Emmaus, Sabrina noted "I chose Emmaus Bible College because of the God centered community. As a future missionary, it is important to surround myself with brothers and sisters in Christ that are there for building up each other. After speaking to Coach Hannah and some of my future teammates, I decided that this is where I want to be! God has blessed me with an opportunity to not only learn more about him but to connect and grow with my teammates on the volleyball team." She added "I look forward to making lifelong friends and getting out of my comfort zone. I also look forward to meetings people that are just as crazy about knowing God as I am. Community is everything to me, but above all, I can't wait to learn more about God and grow more in my relationship with him. I have heard tons of positive information about life at Emmaus and I look forward to exploring all of these opportunities for myself."

Coach Richter shared "We are very excited to have Sabrina joining us this fall! I think she will bring a lot of energy to both our team and our student body within campus life. She loves the Lord and seeks Him in everything she does."
