Women's Volleyball Signs Rahn

Women's Volleyball Signs Rahn

Kaitlin Rahn of Genoa, Illinois has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career with the Emmaus Lady Eagles Volleyball program. Rahn, a varsity starter at Genoa-Kingston High School, looks to contribute immediately to the women's volleyball team as they continue building under 2nd year head coach Hannah Richter.

As the first member of the 2023 Women's Volleyball signing class, Kaitlin comes off an exciting finish to her high school career as her team ended the season with a record of 38-4 and brought home the 2A Illinois State Championship, claiming victory over their opponent in straight sets.

Kaitlin shared her excitement to join the Lady Eagles in saying "I am excited about strengthening relationships with my teammates, coaches, and the Lord. I am thrilled to be able to participate in a program that places God first, and strives for growth in each and every player's personal connection with him." on choosing Emmaus, she added, "I chose Emmaus due to the second-hand experience I had with my sister being in attendance there. It was encouraging to see how well-instilled Christ was in all areas of the school, and it made me want to be a part of that same atmosphere."

Coach Hannah Richter shared  "I'm very excited to have Kaitlin joining us next fall. She will bring much needed competitiveness and IQ to our gym as a player, and will also be a great fit into our current team culture socially. She is extremely kind, and it shows in the way she interacts with others. It has been a pleasure getting to know her, and her family as well. I'm looking super forward to the future to watch her grow in her relationship with the Lord, and continue building a relationship with her!"

Please join us as we welcome Kaitlin to the Emmaus Athletics family!
