Sand Inks With the Eagles

Emma Sand of Ellendale, North Dakota has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career with the Emmaus Lady Eagles Volleyball program. Sand is the third member of the 2023 Women's Volleyball signing class, joining a young group excited to continue building in the 2023 campaign.

Emma shared on her decision, "I chose Emmaus because of the solid Christian education I will be receiving. I am also encouraged by the strong Christian community that exists there." She added, "There are many things that I am looking forward to experiencing at Emmaus. However, I am very excited to be a part of the volleyball team and to get to know everyone better and grow in my faith in Christ."

"We are very excited to have Emma join us this fall!" Stated Coach Hannah Richter, "All of our current players are equally excited; she has a very kind and humble demeanor. She really embodies the kind of character that we are looking for within our program in the ways that she pursues Christ and interacts with others! Her ability to play in multiple positions will also be extremely valuable to the health of the team on the court."
