Hodges Joins Emmaus Volleyball

Brooke Hodges of Janesville, Wisconsin has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career with the Emmaus Lady Eagles Volleyball program. Hodges comes in as a transfer student and will bring maturity and experience to a still young Lady Eagles team. Having competed in the NICC Conference, Brooke will join forces this season with several familiar faces she played against in high school.

"I chose Emmaus because I really wanted the experience of going to a Bible college and some close friends had recommended that I consider applying." Brooke shared, "The beliefs and atmosphere that I saw at Emmaus were exactly what I was looking for, and I really feel like it's God's will for me to be here!"

"After taking a semester off, I'm just really looking forward to being a full time student again. I'm also really excited to be playing volleyball; playing with a group of Christian girls is something that I've really missed! I love that the team puts honoring Christ in front of everything else."

Coach Hannah Richter shared, "We are very excited to have Brooke joining us! We got connected to her as she was getting information for school, and are really thankful that the Lord is bringing her to Emmaus. Being a transfer and upperclassman, she will bring a great aspect of maturity and calm discernment that our team really needs. We're excited to see how she keeps developing in the gym, and the impact she has on our Christ-centered team culture."
