Gregory Signs with Emmaus

Selah Gregory of Bement, Illinois has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career with the Emmaus Lady Eagles Volleyball program. Gregory finished her high school career at the top of the East Central Illinois Conference as she helped lead her team through an undefeated Conference schedule.

Selah adds more experience and skill to the incoming freshman class, as a member of an Arthur Christian program which posted a record of 134-20 over the last four seasons and won the 2021 NACA D1 Volleyball championship. Selah earned the Senior Excellence Award, as well as several other accolades during her time at Arthur Christian.

"I chose Emmaus because of the community" Gregory shared, "Everyone is so relational and it made me feel at home"

"I couldn't be more excited for volleyball, but what I'm looking forward to the most is the Christ-like environment. I think Emmaus will challenge me, and I can't wait to deepen my relationship with the Lord!"

Coach Hannah Richter shared, "It's really exciting to have Selah coming onboard with us this fall! I've really enjoyed getting to know her over this last year and I think she will really add to the spiritual emphasis that is so important to our program. I can't wait to see how she grows in her faith and how she grows as a player."

Please join us as we welcome Selah to the Emmaus Athletics family!
