Eagles Sign Gergen

Jessica Gergen of Janesville, IA has signed her letter of intent to continue her Volleyball career at Emmaus Bible College. Gergen's addition will continue to build on the competitive nature of the Eagle's Volleyball program, as they carry momentum from their first 10-win season since 2019.

"We are really looking forward to having Jess on campus!" Shared Coach Richter, "She has a unique story and is coming to Emmaus for the right reasons. The attributes that she will bring as a middle blocker will help increase our level of play and help us get better as coaches and as a program. We can't wait to see her continue to learn and grow in her faith as she develops the lifelong friendships that she is seeking here!"

When asked about Emmaus, Gergen shared "What I am most looking forward to at Emmaus is creating lifelong friendships in Christ, and being able to further grow in my faith." she added, "Regarding Emmaus's volleyball program I am most excited to be able to continue the sport I love and being immersed in the competitive atmosphere!"
