Senior Day Victory Clinches Perfect Home Record

October 19 - Dubuque, IA - Emmaus University celebrated a triumphant home match against Ozark Christian College, winning 3-1 in a hard-fought volleyball contest. The victory boosts Emmaus's overall record to 16-4.

After losing the first set 26-24, Emmaus rallied to take the next three sets: 26-24, 25-19, and 25-13. Kaylee Goertzen and Kaitlin Rahn led the offense, combining for 19 kills, while Selah Gregory shined with a standout performance, contributing 17 kills and displaying powerful attacking skills.

Defensively, Emmaus was solid, registering 99 digs and effectively managing the serve-receive game. The team displayed resilience, particularly in the second and fourth sets, overcoming early deficits to secure the win. Emmaus capitalized on their opportunities, achieving a .157 hitting percentage.
