The Sophomore from Geneseo, IL has anchored a defense at center back that has 3 shutouts in a row and 4 in 8 games this season, including a shutout against #10 Spurgeon and a Kuyper team that was receiving Top 10 votes. Bennett's communication, shot blocking and passing skills kept Kuyper from big chances and spurred an attack that scored 3 goals on September 28 against Kuyper.
